It was confirmed today that I will be spending two weeks in La Ceiba on assignment, rather than traveling to Jesus de Otoro for my second week. This will not only give me more chance to work with Yeni and the finance staff; but also to get to know the City. La Ceiba is the third largest city in Honduras with a population of 250,000. It was built as the post city at the end of the railroad for the export of bananas and pineapples by the standard fruit company (now a Dole subsidiary).
